Dr. Shawn Yarmo (D.C., Q.M.E. Diplomat American Academy of Pain Management - Dr. Yarmo works primarily with the spine, the root of the nervous system through which nerve impulses travel from the brain to the rest of the body. One effect of chronic stress is prolonged muscle tension and contraction. Dr. Yarmo provides gentle spinal adjustments, releases muscle tension, and helps the body to return to balanced, relaxed state. Adjustments further reduces spinal nerve irritation. These changes, in the most cases, are enough to convince the brain to begin the process of healing. A healthy & balanced spine is the key to effectively manage stress.
