Daniel D. Sadigh, Psy.D.
Founder and CEO
Wheel of Wellbeing
Daniel Daryoush Sadigh, Psy.D. is the founder and visionary behind the newly opened Wheel of Wellbeing center in Los Angeles. Dr. Sadigh leads all aspects of the center, which specializes in integrated programs of yoga, nutrition, acupuncture, massage and traditional psychotherapy. He additionally serves as the center’s chief counsel.
Dr. Sadigh began his journey many years ago in his native Iran, where he began his studies in Basic Medical Sciences. He continued his education at City University of New York, where he earned a degree in accounting followed by a successful career in business. It was his youth spent in a region marked by turmoil and his career which took him through the United States, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, that greatly influenced him. In these years, he experienced an array of human suffering and the commonality of all people for care and love. However, it wasn’t until he faced the struggles of his own family members with illness and cancer that the vision of his life’s work became apparent.
Earning his Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Dr. Sadigh has completed several prestigious internships, including those with the Maple Counseling Center, Dr. Ann Wexler and sociologist, Dr. Farhang Holaqouee, the most influential Marriage and Family therapist in the Los Angeles Persian community. Through these experiences, Dr. Sadigh began formulating the vision that is today, the Wheel of Wellbeing.
Dr. Sadigh’s vision for Wheel of Wellbeing is focused on the creation and maintenance of holistic wellness. His expertise in couples’ counseling, guided imagery and trauma is rooted in psychodynamic psychotherapy, EMF (Electromagnetic Field) Balancing, Somatic Experience therapy and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing). The mission of the Wheel of Wellbeing is to create a sanctuary where people find balance, continued flow and the ability to address themselves as whole – “essentially, a place in time where East is meeting West.”
